ECHO stands for Ethical Cybersecurity Hackers Ops, ECHO club. This is a student led cybersecurity club that was founded by Orukami, a cybersecurity student attending Front Range Community College, Larimer. The vision of this club: to help students and the community learn how to practice ethical hacking and awareness to the cyber security of software, hardware, and electronics. The club is solely for students and the community and will always remain a separate organization from the academic agenda of FRCC, led by students. Join ECHO Club to turn curiosity into hands‑on skill: you’ll HACK and discuss how to defend against hacks in real lab environments while learning hands on techniques that will help you connect the dots from the theoretical course material to real world practice and techniques. Work with a student led crew of creative problem‑solvers. Build portfolio‑worthy projects and level up through challenges, workshops, and show‑and‑tell demos. Learn entry level Capture the Flag war games to advance your technical knowledge and build confidence. This club is open to any student enrolled at the FRCC community college family, you DO NOT need to be enrolled in the Cybersecurity Program, no experience in cybersecurity is required.
ECHO transforms curiosity into capability. We bring together live demos, virtual walkthroughs, and hands-on wargames so members learn the how and the why, behind ethical hacking. From beginner-friendly labs (booting a toolkit from USB) to advanced CTFs and industry speaker nights, every activity is designed to build practical skill, ethical awareness, and leadership through collaborative projects and a growing archive of recorded sessions.

Organize and fundraise for the club benefit of inspiring students to become ethical hackers
ECHO has launched with great things in practice, currently in the process of organizing with The Foundation at FRCC. This opportunity will open fundraising and donation opportunities for ECHO. With Wild West Hackin Fest coming in February 2026 during Spring semester ECHO is rallying to raise over $2000 to send 10+ students to WWHF 2026.
