Spring 2026 Calendar Sneak Peek
Central Round #1 : Game #2
Start date: Mar 07 2026, 11:00 AM
End date: Mar 07 2026, 03:00 PM
University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire vs Front Range Community College
Starting March 7th - Teams Wolves: Will be competing every weekend (Sat-Sun) for the next couples of weeks until there are only 2 universities/colleges left or they are eliminated.
Hack The Box is excited to bring back Hack The Madness, the nationwide Capture The Flag (CTF) tournament built exclusively for university students across the United States.
Inspired by the excitement of March Madness, 64 collegiate teams will compete in a fast-paced, single-elimination bracket where cybersecurity skills, teamwork, and strategy will determine who advances. Each round challenges teams with real-world security scenarios designed to test offensive and defensive capabilities.
Only the strongest teams will survive each round — and in the end, one university will be crowned the Hack The Madness Champion.
First round was a victory, the opposing team, University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, started off strong. Securing 9 flags within the first hour. Team Wolves spilt up and tackled separate scenarios focusing on the higher point flags. Surprisingly, we had a full team for this Hack the Box event. Great job Team Wolves!
